Founded in 1998 in the city of Córdoba - Argentina - dedicated to the dissemination of the Visual Arts of Argentine creators. The presence of artists from different latitudes and especially those that most stand out for their commitment to the art have been partakers of multiple exhibitions organised SASHA D. on the conviction that the dissemination of them contributes to the enrichment of the aesthetic values of the society.
Alejandro Dávila director of the Gallery, he has been President of the Association Argentina of gallery Arts (AAGA), has also been director of the Art Museum Emilio A. Caraffa (Córdoba) and the Municipal Museum of fine arts Dr. Genaro Pérez (Córdoba).
Art in general contributes to the sensitivity of society, artists, gallerists, the media are part and architects of this building to the extent that their goals are the commitment and the passion to defend their creative processes.
In the year 2014 opens a new space of the Gallery SASHA D. On the traditional corner of Bulnes and Pringles from the city of Córdoba, specialized in painting, sculpture and photography.

  • Eduardo Cetner

    Biography : EDUARDO CETNER Eduardo Cetner was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1956. He studied with Maestro Enrique Sobish. Since 1978 he performs numerous individual and collective exhibitions in prestigious galleries in Argentina as in Art, Nexus, Aleph, Palatine, Principium and Rubbers International. In 1980 Eduardo Cetner he moved to Madrid, Spain, and in 1982 to Paris, France, where he participated in the Grand Palais of the important individual exhibition: "La America Latina en Paris" together with renowned artists such as Botero, Krasno, Lea Lublin, Segui, and Le Parc, among others. He obtained the third prize of painting of the Universidad Complutense. He exhibits at Gallery Duran and the Provincial Museum of Badajoz, Spain, acquired three of his works. In 1989 he returned to Buenos Aires and is selected finalist of the prize of painting Constantini, Fortabat, INET, and University of Palermo. He began the series "Zen in the City", where he addressed the issue of environmental pollution, proposing a reflective way of looking at it. The editorial Tusquets in Cataluña, Spain, illustrated some of his books with images of the "Zen in the City" series. In 2000 he returned to live in Spain, and began his series 'Immigration' .He has being working on that subject for more than one decade to the present. He painted one of his most emblematic pictures "El Sueño Americano". This series is exhibited for the first time in the Kreisler Gallery in Madrid in 2001. He participated in the fair DeArte, fair Spanish Galleries in 2002 and in the fair Foro Sur, Caceres, Spain. He won first prize of the Army of the Air of Spain in 2001. In 2005 he returned to Buenos Aires and settled permanently in Argentina. He started to work with the Rubbers International Gallery performing numerous individual and collective exhibitions.   • Bastón Díaz

    Biography : He was born on December 11nd, 1946. He studied in the National school of fine arts Manuel Belgrano, The École Nationale de Beaux Arts and the École Pratique de Haute Études of Paris. From 1969 he exhibited in individual and group exhibition. He was invited to make monumental sculptures in different cities, hightlights are:: Monumental Sculpture Park of Culiacan (Mexico), The Guadalajara Colonist (Mexico), The Zacatecas (Mexico) and Business City of Santiago (Chile). In Argentina his work emplaced in public squares in the cities of Bahia Blanca, Villa Gesell, Santa Cruz and private parks of Buenos Aires. Member of the National Academic of Fine Arts, He won the following awards, Sculpture first prize Manuel Belgrano municipal award (1992), Honor prize, National Plastics Arts (1993), Sculpture first prize Monumental INET (1997); Sculpture First prize Henry Moore Foundation (1998) and Harlequin Award and Artist of the Year, Pettoruti Foundation (2004) He was born in Buenos Aires on 11th December 1946. He studied in Argentina and France. In Buenos Aires, he studied at the Technical Schools Raggio and the School of Visual Arts Manuel Belgrano; in Paris, he studied at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Practice La Sorbonne, and the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Vincennes (Paris VIII). His solo exhibitions include: Fundación Banco Patricios (1989), Gallery Ática Buenos Aires (1990), Gallery Ática Buenos Aires (1994), Dock del Plata - Art space (1995), National Endowment of the Arts Buenos Aires (1997) POINT - Puerto Madero Buenos Aires (2000) and Daniel Maman Fine Arts Gallery (2005).     Biography : JULIA ROMANO (1978 - ) Julia Romano was born in 1978, in Santa Fe, Argentina. She is a Professor and Licentiate in Plastic Arts from the Cordoba National University, Argentina. Her production is mainly based on the construction of digital images from photographs. Beauty is one of the current themes in her work, where its esthetic aspect is highlighted; she goes into questioning the possibility of generating beauty nowadays. On her last production, she is interested in contemporary theories that approach landscape as an object of representation in the history of art. Landscape owes its existence (at least its aesthetic autonomy) to its artistic representation. She has participated in numerous contests and exhibitions, both individual and collective, at home and overseas. She lives in Cordoba city, Argentina, where she is deeply committed with its cultural life. Since 2002, she works at the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts Emilio Caraffa.     Detailed Description : JULIA ROMANO (Córdoba, Argentina) The works presented here are part of the series Landscape Representation, made with scanned or downloaded images from European paintings of landscape, digitally joined with my own photographs of Latin-American sights (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, México) My production has landscape as its central element as well as beauty and the intersections between the natural and the created; questioning that even what we consider natural is actually the result of a figment of culture. I build up landscapes, ecosystems, nature, where what seems real is just an illusion or a blend of both. Through collage and photography, I show how the same landscape can be shaped up to convey a different message to each new viewer. My work goes deeper into the fact that representation makes the existence of landscape possible. Representation is a way to make the object real and show it to us. It is the moment the artists starts painting their surroundings on their canvases when the territory becomes landscape. The observation of the artist is a possibility, one look at the world. Our observation is conditioned by the multiplicity of ways in which landscape has been represented along the history of art; therefore we do not observe our surroundings in a static, unique and truthful way, but as a plastic production. The way in which environment is represented is the shape the world takes up. European painters showed us a shape of the world through their paintings. And for a long time that shape was the measure to anything and every territory. My work with landscape is an excuse to think and revise the way we relate and see our world today. Landscape is a cultural construction so each of us builds our own idea of what territory is. Landscape is not what is outside but is the way we launch the elements into space organizing them as our wishes, memories and expectations tell us how to.
