Detailed Description : Figures of huge machines that can be found in a science fiction cartoon or a cyberpunk film fill the canvas. Figures of machines, on the canvas with a big size that fills the space from the floor to the ceiling of an exhibition hall, appear in other small-scale works again. No matter how big or small, his works pursue the monumental chock-full scale. In the canvas weighed down by the space-phobia, with no space to stick a pin, long shapes seemed to hiss and shake. Figures of machines are no longer merely a metaphor for the extension of human mind or human body. They make a self-sufficient world by themselves. Geometric pattern like cylinder, sphere and pyramid, and shapes derived from organisms like spiral nautilus and ammonite are combined in various ways. In some works, they are arranged almost symmetrically. As more little patterns are arranged in the lustering metallic pipes, the work seems to be in perspective. It is a structure with things piled up compactly far from the bottom of the deep square space to the surface of the picture. the space where rays shine through the shapes and glistening elements are finished up here and there gives the sense of another dimensional space as the space where pure energy is concentrated. As you know from the title 'Docking', his works emphasize the part where one system is connected with another. What appeared in his works is not the mere group of individuals, but the nodal point or interface where an element joins another element. It attaches much importance not to one substance but to the relation among the elements. And this relation itself becomes another substance. It resembles machinery which is the flow of disconnection. Deleuze stated that the art imagination frequently devise irrational machines, in the [Anti-Oedipus]. The point of the irrationality in machines is the obscurity of an engine and the source of energy, the physical impossibility of organizing working parts, or the logical impossibility of mechanism.
