“I discovered my passion for glass in the mid nineties, which led me to study on the part-time postgraduate diploma glass course glass at the renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design (CSM) in London. Having graduated from the course with distinction, I went on to design architectural glass installations both in Germany and the UK, working with German and British glass studios on the implementation and installation of the artwork. I also enjoy creating wall-hung glass artworks exploring pattern ideas inspired by textiles and minimalist art and architecture.
Light is essential to viewing the work. Although natural light is best when looking at glass, carefully placed artificial lighting can bring the artwork to life at any time, independent of times of day or seasons.”
