About the Artist

In Korzenie ze światłem I (Roots with Light I), roots and light become opposing yet inseparable forces: one reaching into matter, the other opening toward the immaterial. Light seems to emerge from within the dense structure of the work, transforming what is buried and unseen into a moment of revelation.
In Mount Everest, Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski transforms the monumental presence of the mountain into a meditation on human aspiration, endurance and the persistent impulse to transcend physical and existential limits.
In Krakowiacy i Górale, fire becomes the center of a world set in motion. Around it, the city and the mountains, civilization and nature, bodies and landscape are drawn into the rhythm of a traditional dance. Color becomes music, movement becomes ritual, and for a fleeting moment, everything that seemed separate gathers around light and begins to breathe as one.
In Korzenie ze światłem II (Roots with Light II), light enters the dense structure of roots as a quiet but persistent force, opening a passage between what is grounded and what remains beyond reach. Matter does not disappear; it becomes the threshold through which the invisible begins to emerge.
