About the Artist
ANTON HOEGER (b. 1956) in Munich, Germany, now resides near Dallas, Texas, with his wife and muse. His artistic roots trace back to the Viennese School of Fantastic Realism, where he was a master student of Professor Ernst Fuchs.
His breakthrough came with a solo exhibition at the Museum Meštrović-Pavillon in Zagreb in 2017 (HDLU), where he was awarded an honorary prize for one of the most successful and outstanding exhibitions.
Hoeger’s motto for art is: "I am a realist through and through, apolitical and not moralizing. This realism, which tends less to represent reality than to establish reality, rejects any emphasis and any dramatic sensation or satirical intention in a work of art.
They are authentic creations, separate from the abstract and from what could be contemptuously described as illustrative. The supposedly realistic pictorial designs are not simple representations of a depictable reality, but always reconstructions that transcend mere experience. I try to represent the found or invented motif in such a way that as an artist I give the viewer the feeling of encountering a new reality that has more weight than just an image."
Modern artists such as Francis Bacon, Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and Sigmar Polke not only influenced his development but are also partially interpreted in his work. Anton Hoeger’s art should be seen as part of the creative and indicative realities of our time. In this sense, the driving force behind his imaginative creations is not just the artist’s own experience as a consumer of art, but the processes of cognition, which are presented as the essence of truth in modern philosophy.
Anton Hoeger is a winner of many international art prizes, and his works have been
exhibited in numerous cities around the world such as Montreal, New York, San Diego, Cincinnati, Zurich, Zagreb, Florence, Munich, Nuernberg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Kiel, just to name a few.
John A. Peralta is a self-taught artist whose work examines the emotional relationship we develop with the machines we use on a regular basis.
John’s unique style of sculpture incorporates iconic mechanical objects and high-tech materials to produce astonishingly beautiful and complex representations.
His interpretation of what is known in engineering terms as the exploded diagram, is truly original and demonstrates his extraordinary imagination, technical expertise, and inventiveness.
His perspective on life and art stems from his unique upbringing and broad exposure to the world. From his mid-teens through his mid-twenties, he lived in communes, where he developed practical self-reliance and a deep appreciation for the natural world. He then spent over twenty years living abroad and traveling throughout East Asia, India, Africa, the South Pacific islands, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
Although he demonstrated exceptional artistic talent from an early age, Peralta never received formal training as an artist. It wasn’t until his late thirties that he found his true artistic voice. His artistic interests focus on contrasts, motion, mechanics, space, time, and the use of bold colors.
"One doesn’t need special esoteric insight to make art or to appreciate it. Art speaks to each of us differently, and sometimes not at all. People say I must have great patience to do what I do, but I don’t. I do find it challenging and interesting. It’s also very calming, and that’s the feeling I would like the viewer to take away from my work."
Peralta currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.

Brian McPartlon is an Abstract Expressionist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since his first exhibition as a teen in 1965 at the Oak Room Gallery in Schenectady, New York, Brian McPartlon has honed his skills in acrylics, watercolor, oils, pastels, and mixed media sculpture.
In 1973, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. Two years later, in 1975, he founded and directed the 63 Bluxome Street Gallery in San Francisco, California.
McPartlon’s technique is designed to convey true depth of field through layers of shapes and colors. His process includes staining, pouring, and spraying, as well as using a wide variety of brushes—from a traditional 6-inch house painting brush to palm fronds, cacti, animal bone fragments, and even his fingers. A single painting may take him anywhere from ten minutes to over 40 years to complete.
The large, bold canvases can be ominous, antagonistic, invigorating, and breathtaking. The range of colors and depth in each of McPartlon’s works evoke powerful reactions from viewers. Observers often feel compelled to touch the textures or "crawl" into the portals that emerge within the layers of his paintings.
Catherine Eaton Skinner (b. 1946) is a multimedia artist based in Seattle, WA, and Santa Fe, NM. Skinner’s work explores the balance of opposites and the systems of order that shape our world, often through repetition and pattern. Inspired by the natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, where she grew up, her art reflects a deep connection to both nature and place.
With a background in biology (BA from Stanford) and 20 years as a biological illustrator, Skinner integrates ecological themes into her work, which spans painting, encaustic, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Her creative process draws on marking methods used by both humans and animals to communicate and define relationships with the environment, ranging from simple tantric forms to intricate grids.
Skinner’s work is created in two custom-designed studios: her Seattle studio, designed by architect Tom Kundig, offers a versatile space for various media, while her Santa Fe studio, designed by Gayla Bechtol, serves as a serene adobe retreat overlooking the mountains and her beehives.
Today, Skinner continues her multidisciplinary practice, creating paintings, encaustics, photography, printmaking, and sculpture in her studios in Seattle and Santa Fe.

Alessio Ceruti (b. 1980, Varese, Italy) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationship between humans and nature through sculpture, painting, video, and installation. Self-taught, he began his artistic journey in his father's workshop, collaborating on sculptures for renowned artists.
Based between Milan and Bali, his practice blends recycled metals, plexiglass, natural materials, and light into immersive, reflective works. His layered plexiglass paintings, which shift with light and perspective, explore perception, impermanence, and the fluid boundaries between organic and artificial landscapes. Influenced by his experiences as a free diver and his travels in Asia, Ceruti creates pieces that invite viewers to reconnect with the natural world. His work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
My work explores the fragile and shifting relationship between humans and nature. Through painting, sculpture, installation, and video, I investigate transformation, perception, and the impermanence of matter. I’m drawn to materials that change over time, recycled metals, natural elements, and especially layered plexiglass, which plays with light and reflection to create shifting, immersive experiences. These works invite viewers to see how perspective shapes reality and how what appears solid can dissolve into something fluid and uncertain. As a free diver, I’m inspired by the underwater world, a place of quiet stillness, infinite depth, and delicate beauty. My art seeks to bring a piece of that experience to the surface, inviting people to slow down, reconnect with nature, and embrace the mystery of change. - Alessio Ceruti
