Sylvain Piget is a French visual artist, born in Cognac in 1988.
He began painting at the age of 9, but it was the study of philosophy that marked a true turning point in his artistic expression, particularly inspired by Plato’s vision of beauty. For Plato, the coincidence of the Beautiful, the True, and the Good is never guaranteed. We do not encounter the alignment of these qualities in the world around us. Thus, the Beautiful, the True, and the Good are the subject of a quest.
A self-taught artist, he does everything himself, including making his own frames, having inherited the carpenter skills of his grandfather. It was then that he decided to repurpose the wood scraps from the frames to create three-dimensional sculptures with carefully studied proportions.
The result of monumental work assembling wood, the material and volume are highlighted by colour gradients. His quest for beauty and perfection drives him to always do more.
Insatiable, he constantly seeks the adrenaline and wonder he feels upon completing a work.
Layered with fragments of cartoons, press clippings, and cultural symbols, the composition plays with time and memory. The presence of gold leaf adds an aura of reverence, suggesting the sacredness of the self.
This duality evokes the inner dialogue we all experience, between how we are perceived and how we feel. A striking tribute to individuality and introspection.

Alexandre de Poplavsky was born in Paris on July 27, 1991. He studied at the prestigious Penninghen University, where he earned his degree in Interior Design and Architecture in 2013. After graduating, Alexandre de Poplavsky decided to focus his time on developing his artistic career and signed his first contract with an established Parisian gallery.
In 2014, de Poplavsky moved to London to expand his exposure and audience. While continuing to practice art, he completed a master’s degree at the prestigious University of the Arts London in Interior and Spatial Design, further deepening his architectural education. That same year, he signed contracts with two galleries in London: French Art Studio and Walton Fine Arts Gallery.
With the dynamic London art scene greatly increasing his popularity, de Poplavsky’s works began to attract a wider audience. Beyond Paris and London, he is now significantly represented throughout Europe and abroad in South Africa with the TBG gallery. He has participated in multiple art fairs in Europe and the United States, such as Art Basel Miami, where he was represented by the French gallery Lagrange.
Alexandre de Poplavsky lives and works in London. He studied at ESAG Penninghen in Paris and at UAL Chelsea College of Art in London. He is a versatile artist, expressing his creativity through various media: collages on canvas, sculptures (resin), and even the human body. His sculptures, for example his Art Toys (Mickey, Mario, rabbits (with or without butterflies) …), are placed in an acrylic box. The backgrounds of his paintings feature paper collages: fragments of cartoons, newspapers, etc., with a large black-and-white woman’s head depicted at the center. A touch of gold or silver leaf often illuminates the background.
His works are found in many collections, for example in London, France, Switzerland, South Africa, and Belgium.
These dots are not merely decorative patterns: they tell the intimate story of the person depicted, a coded narrative that only fingers can truly read. The artwork thus becomes a bridge between sight and touch, an invitation to “read” the painting differently, to feel its texture, its relief, its physical presence.
Through this dialogue between text and image, between what can be seen and what can only be guessed, “Read Between the Dots” questions the way we perceive the world.

Jonty Hurwitz is a world-renowned artist, engineer, and founder of the artificial intelligence research company Daizy.com.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he spent his youth in rural hotels before pursuing studies at the University of Witwatersrand and the University of Cape Town, where he worked as a researcher. After traveling to India to focus on yoga and wood sculpture, he moved to London and distinguished himself in the technology sector, notably in the design of financial algorithms.
In 2009, Hurwitz turned to sculpture, drawing inspiration from science and anamorphic art. Influenced by masters such as M.C. Escher and Leonardo da Vinci, his work explores oblique and catoptric anamorphosis. He is particularly famous for creating the smallest human form ever made thanks to nanotechnology, with sculptures requiring billions of calculations based on the number π. In 2014, he revolutionized art by developing nanometric sculptures, invisible to the naked eye and observable only with electron microscopy, making them the smallest human and animal sculptures ever created, a feat that earned him two Guinness World Records.

The contrast between the refined blue patterns and the glowing gold lines highlights the fragile yet powerful nature of transformation. Through this deeply poetic piece, Poplavsky suggests that scars can be sacred, and healing can create something even more precious than before.

The layered composition, combining collage, gold leaf, and detailed drawing, invites the viewer to reflect on identity, femininity, and self-reconstruction. Gosia becomes a contemporary icon of dignity and transformation, where every crack is a chapter of strength.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery. If a bowl is broken, rather than discarding the pieces, the fragments are put back together with gold leaf and turned into a uniquely beautiful piece. This philosophy is reflected in this series of paintings.
"There is a crack in everything; that's how the light gets in."

The layered textures and unfinished edges reflect the complexity of identity and the fragmented nature of memory—recurring themes in Poplavsky’s work. “Jacky” invites the viewer into a confrontation: both intimate and universal.

In essence, “Pura Vida: Red Eyed Tree Frog” is much more than a visual trick—it’s a heartfelt homage to nature, a technical marvel that bridges art and science, and a statement about environmental preservation.

Inspired by philosophical ideas of beauty and perfection, Piget layers countless wooden fragments to reflect waves breaking, shifting clouds, and the play of light over the horizon. Each detail captures a fleeting moment, where nature’s power and serenity coexist, inviting contemplation and calm. The artwork’s atmosphere and scale make it a powerful focal point for collectors who seek meditative energy and the poetry of natural transitions in their space.

This artwork delivers a powerful visual and emotional impact, making it a distinguished centerpoint in any contemporary collection. “Chaos Tower Lagoon” blends meditative calm with dynamic abstraction, reflecting Piget’s mastery in merging texture, light, and conceptual depth
