This sculpture embodies the elegance and restrained power of the feline, a theme dear to the artist. Jean-Paul Kala shapes the material with organic precision: supple, dynamic lines convey both grace and animal tension, captured in a moment of silent intensity. Felini goes beyond mere representation—it is an allegory of freedom, instinct, and inner nobility, which the artist elevates through a play of textures and volumes that invites the viewer to move around the work to grasp all its nuances.
In his series Read Between the Line, Alexandre de Poplavsky plays with the boundary between the legible and the invisible, between certainty and interpretation. The lines, both rigorous and fluid, become a silent language that invites the viewer to decode what lies beyond the obvious. Each work acts as a filter: it is not so much the image itself that matters, but the space it opens to thought—the in-between zone where the eye and the imagination meet.
