Papin Garage
About the Artist
A fully functional electric Porsche 930 art car designed, engineered and built by Papin Garage, featuring original artwork by Masha Razum. The vehicle features a full carbon-fiber body manufactured in-house at the Papin Garage facility in Hallandale Beach, Florida, together with a bespoke interior designed and produced specifically for the project.
The Porsche’s original red color became the starting point for the artistic composition. Pomegranates, a bird and other organic imagery grow out of this palette, introducing a sense of life and nature into the engineered form of the automobile. The bird symbolizes freedom and movement, reflecting the very nature of a car created for the road. The artwork softens the technological character of carbon fiber, metal and electric propulsion, reconnecting the machine with the natural world.
Through this interaction between art and engineering, the automobile is transformed from a purely mechanical object into something that feels alive — a moving canvas in which nature, technology, craftsmanship and contemporary art coexist. The car represents the “Road” element of the installation “From the Road to the Wall and Back Again.”

From the Road to the Wall and Back Again — The Wall” presents a complete carbon-fiber body of Papin Garage’s original design as a wall-mounted artwork, featuring hand-painted floral compositions by Masha Razum.
The body shares its design and construction with the one fitted to the accompanying automobile. It can be removed from the panel and installed on a car, making the journey from road to wall and back again a physical possibility at the heart of the work.
The gold background symbolizes the value of art, creative vision and the skilled work invested in the piece — from the development of the original carbon-fiber body to its hand-painted finish. Like a precious setting, the gold accentuates the sculptural lines of the body, while the floral motifs bring lightness and a sense of life to the composition. The painting flows across the exterior and into the interior, uniting the body, seats, floor and steering wheel in a continuous artwork.
Designed and produced in-house by Papin Garage in Hallandale Beach, Florida, the work brings automotive craftsmanship and contemporary painting together. The same form can move between the road and the gallery wall, carrying its artistic identity with it.
