The artist, Kwooni Shin used oriental colors and ink to reveal the texture of Hanji on the campus, so that he tried to take advantage of the physical properties of Hanji as a medium and to express it in a modern formative language. This new creative artwork was born through the process of rearranging, layering and coloring Hanji. This is an attempt to capture the vitality of nature by reinterpreting Hanji from a new perspective as it is purity and nature-friendly, which were originally the material characteristics of Hanji. The layers of Hanji are traces of our time, intended to reveal the vitality of repeated life found in nature. In addition, repetition and overlap testify to numerous different memories and meanings. He wanted to allow us to experience them in a synesthetic form.
