Presented by 10k Contemporary, B22
Los hechos del silencio (The facts of silence) by Minos Azahares represents a powerful manifestation of artistic resistance in an adverse political context like that of Cuba. This exhibition invites the viewer to reflect on the nature of power, freedom, and individual responsibility in the struggle for meaningful change. “A writer puts his thoughts on paper. As a visual artist, thoughts are translated into images which tell a story and take the viewer on a journey, a dialogue of sorts, which the viewer may interpret as it speaks to him.”

2Wild
Presented by 2Wild The Plaza Galleries, C20
2Wild’s collection, “Moments of Clarity”, explores the limitless possibilities of laser-cut plexiglass as a medium that transcends the boundaries of the traditional and geometric canvas. No longer constrained by the standard formats, the brother and sister duo creates dynamic compositions and intricate large-scale installations that blur the line between painting and sculpture. The artists play with transparency and refraction by layering plexiglass, creating mutable compositions that change from different viewing angles. The work explores the idea of finding clarity, not as a single moment, but as a gradual and rewarding process of deep observation and immersion.

RASTER
Presented by LaMantia Gallery, C11
Raster is an American, multidisciplinary artist, with a deep focus on contemporary art sculptures and paintings.
Raster’s break-thru original character “Scrappy” has received attention from brands in the fashion, music and gaming industries, since early on in its creation. Scrappy stems from Raster’s upbringing and the sculpture’s stance is based on a uniquely jarring street art moment from Raster’s teen years.
Raster’s artworks have his signature “zig-zag” pupils in the eyes. It’s derived from the number “3”. The number 3 can mean life in some cultures, and Raster feels as if he’s giving life to each of his new creations.
