Jiang Miao has been strongly influenced by ancient civilization and high wisdom. She started to explore ''yin and yang'' and the convergence of ''nature and man as one'' while in attendance at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and even after she graduated in 2005 . Recently, Jiang has gravitated towards life-themed art which can be seen in her application of a ''trigram'', a symbol of the soul ''spiral'', and ''energy releasing color''.
