AURORA RADIANT
Inspired in part by the wonder of the Aurora Borealis (or Northern Lights) and its ethereal show of light and color, Patrick Lajoie’s Aurora series playfully explores the phenomenon created when colors are captured in motion. By employing speed, rotation and movement along with the camera’s ability to capture light and imagery that the human eye cannot, the artist has created unique compositions that reveal a captivating blurring and merging of color.
